In the Regional Circuit, controllers fully staff two regional airports, providing complete 'gate-to-gate' coverage over this special four-hour event. The focus airports are typically 80-200nm apart, and a high volume of pilots operating in this compressed airspace means the Regional Circuit provides optimal conditions for congested frequencies and busy airways. For more information and event downloads, visit the Regional Circuit page. Cascading Triangles

    until
Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen, its time again to start your engines for another TRIPPLE ARTCC FNO event. That’s right, we are joining forces once again to show VATSIM what the west coast is made of. ZLC, ZSE, and ZOA together invite you for a night of full staffing (top to bottom) and with options galore when it comes to destinations. We have chosen to fully staff some of the biggest (and busiest) airports in our respective regions. Chose between SLC, SFO, and SEA. We suggest flying between these fields, although we welcome all levels of traffic from all directions and if you decide to fly VFR come and test our controllers. Our last event with ZLA was excellent and allowed us to refine our procedures, and we are building on that to try and make everything run even smoother. Date 14th September Time 5PM-9PM PDT 2359-0400z Featured Airports KSLC - Salt Lake City Airport KSEA - Seattle Tacoma Airport KSFO - San Francisco Airport Milan Cruz ZLC C1 Events Coordinator | Mentor

    FNO: Indianapolis

    until
It's Friday Night Ops at Indianapolis Int'l, the beginning of a hot sports weekend. The City of Indianapolis will be host to two major sporting events this weekend, both on Sunday, which means double the fans heading into town. Nascar's Brickyard 400 will be in full swing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway while at the same time the Colts will take the home team advantage at Lucas Oil Stadium during the first week regular season NFL game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Your job is to safely deliver those fans, not to mention all the hot freight, in time for them to enjoy all the city has to offer as they get ready to raise the roof and make some noise. We hope you will join us. David Stone Air Traffic Manager vZID ARTCC
