We have your back Houston and Southern Texas! Stay strong!
Thank you for an August full of flying! We complete over 1,000 pireps, which is the most we’ve had throughout 2017! Stats will be out in a few days!
The technology department has just put around 3,000 regional routes including Skywest and GoJet routes! Get flying those new Aerosoft CRJs and have fun as we are still CAT Free until September!
We will be having a Townhall Meeting on July 8th, 2017! There will be 2 times you can meet, the first one is 1300 Eastern Time and the last one will be 1800 Eastern Time! Remember they are EASTERN Time so plan accordingly!
If you have not gotten an email about this, a Townhall Meeting is where you can come on Discord and ask the staff questions about upcoming things with the VA and even suggest further things we can do to make your flying more enjoyable. You can just talk with other pilots and staff members also.
See you there and remember, keep flying those Virtual Skies!
Check your email for this week’s Jumpseat Chatter. We announced CAT Free and our upcoming Townhall Meeting and much more. As always, we thank you for your loyalty to our amazing community.
Attention all pilots! The server migration is complete. Please contact our technology department ([email protected]) for any questions or technical issues you may have. Thank you for your patience!
The technology department at Virtual United would like to inform its pilots that our server equipment will be relocating from a datacenter in Los Angeles to a new location in Western Europe. This will take place wednesday night, February 1st, between 2AM and 2PM central.
Intervals of downtime are possible all day Wednesday, we however estimate these to be rare and brief. Even though pilots who reside in the United States will experience a slight increase in latency, we remain confident that this decision will increase the effectiveness and reliability of our website and ACARS services.
Please feel free to reach out to our technology department ([email protected]) for any questions or technical issues you may have.
Our thoughts and prayers are with those impacted from Hurricane Matthew. Please continue to monitor your local weather and news channels for the latest forecast. We urge our community to donate to the American Red Cross during this national disaster. On behalf of Virtual United Social Club, Inc Staff team, please be safe out there. Blue Skies!
