The technology department at Virtual United would like to inform its pilots that our server equipment will be relocating from a datacenter in Los Angeles to a new location in Western Europe. This will take place wednesday night, February 1st, between 2AM and 2PM central.
Intervals of downtime are possible all day Wednesday, we however estimate these to be rare and brief. Even though pilots who reside in the United States will experience a slight increase in latency, we remain confident that this decision will increase the effectiveness and reliability of our website and ACARS services.
